A hardline Iranian organization is reportedly offering a $100,000 reward to any person who bombs the newly opened U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, according to a translation of Farsi language reports.
A group known as the Iranian Justice Seeker Student Movement is reported to have disseminated posters calling for an attack on the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, which has been opposed by Palestinian and Iranian officials as an affront to the holy city.
“The Student Justice Movement will support anybody who destroy the illegal American embassy in Jerusalem,” the poster states in Farsi, Arabic, and English, according to an independent translation of the propaganda poster provided to the Free Beacon.
There will be a “$100,000 dollar prize for the person who destroys the illegal American embassy in Jerusalem,” the poster states.

Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose aspirations for a new Islamic caliphate have been only thinly disguised, is calling for a summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation so that members can “move as one” against Israel, reports an Iranian state-run news source.
“Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim told his ruling party in parliament that Ankara would call an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation,” reported PressTV, which broadcasts in English.
Yildirim, in the report, said Islamic countries “should without fail review their relations with Israel.”
“The Islamic world should move as one, with one voice, against this massacre,” he said.
The report also said Erdogan, who now is chairman of the OIC, called for a summit to be held Friday.

The European Union will activate legislation banning the bloc’s companies from complying with US sanctions against Iran as soon as Friday, according to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.
The law also does not recognize any court rulings enforcing penalties, which could be potentially introduced by the White House against European corporations doing business in the Islamic Republic.
“As the European Commission we have the duty to protect European companies,” the Commission president said at a news conference after a meeting of EU leaders. “We now need to act and this is why we are launching the process of to activate the ‘blocking statute’ from 1996. We will do that tomorrow morning at 10:30.”
“We also decided to allow the European Investment Bank to facilitate European companies’ investment in Iran. The Commission itself will maintain its cooperation with Iran,” Juncker said.

Light was shed on Wednesday, May 16, on Russia’s mysterious intentions after its puzzling non-interference in the Israeli-Iranian clashes in Syria.
President Vladimir Putin informed the Russian high command meeting in Sochi of two decisions: “Our ships carrying Kalbr cruise missiles will be permanently deployed in the Mediterranean Sea,” he reported. They will take up position opposite the shores of Syria, Lebanon and Israel. DEBKAfile’s military sources take this step to mean that the Russian army command believes the military confrontation between Israel and Iran in Syria is not over and more clashes are still to come.
It was also revealed by military sources in Moscow that the Assad regime’s 4th Armored Division had received from Russia heavy rocket launchers deliberately dubbed Golan-1000, of 500mm caliber, which can deliver three rockets loaded with 500kg of high-explosive fragmentation ammunition. They have a range of up to 6km and are powerful enough to knock over IDF fortifications on the Golan. Those fortified bases remained unscathed by the Iranian Al Qods 20-missile barrage on May 9.

A leading Iranian ayatollah vowed in weekly prayer service in Tehran that the Islamic Republic “will turn Tel Aviv and Haifa to rubble,” according to a translation of his remarks.
Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts, which answers to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said that Iran is “strengthening its missile power on a daily basis” and is on the verge of turning “Tel Aviv and Haifa to rubble,” according to a translation of his remarks by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI, a regional monitoring organization.
Khatami also took aim at President Donald Trump, saying the Iranian people are “more unified and stronger than ever” in their commitment to the slogan, “Death to America.”
U.S. allies such as Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia will become “America’s cannon fodder,” Khatami claimed.
Senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahhar said the riots on the Israel-Gaza border are “not peaceful resistance” but rather, are supported by its “military force.”
“This is not peaceful resistance,” al-Zahhar said. “Has the option [of armed struggle] diminished? No. On the contrary, it is growing and developing. That’s clear.”
The video was flagged and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute and the interview occurred on the Al Jazerra network in Qatar on May 13.
“This is a clear terminological deception … When you have weapons that are being wielded by men who were able to prevent the strongest army in the region from entering the Gaza strip for 51 days and were able to capture or kill soldiers of that army, is this really ‘peaceful resistance?” al-Zahhar asked.”
Al-Zahhar said talk about peaceful resistance is deceiving the public.

The leaders of Turkey and Israel have engaged in a war of words over human rights amidst fallout from the deadly protests. Belgium also summoned the Israeli ambassador over controversial statements about the violence.
The Israeli government has ordered Turkey’s consul in Jerusalem to leave the country for an indeterminate amount of time on Tuesday, as Ankara demanded the same of Israel’s ambassador. The Turkish Foreign Ministry confirmed that the move was a direct response to recent violence on the Gaza border that has claimed at least 60 lives.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of running an “apartheid state,” bent on “genocide,” saying that Netanyahu had the dead protesters’ blood on his hands.
“Erdogan is one of the biggest supporters of Hamas, so there’s no doubt he’s an expert on terror and slaughter,” Netanyahu wrote on Twitter, referencing the militant Palestinian organization. “I’d suggest he doesn’t preach morality to us.”

Hamas is satisfied with having orchestrated the deadliest day of Palestinian violence in Gaza since 2014 – although it cost more than 50 Palestinian lives and 1,000 injured. The terrorist group’s declared goal was to overshadow the inauguration of the first US embassy in Jerusalem occurring that day, but equally to grab the Palestinian torch from Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah party in Ramallah and put the Palestinians back on the pressing international agenda. Meanwhile, some 40,000 Palestinians held out for 12 hours Monday against the IDF, and at least 35 fires set by flaming kites incinerated Israel farm crops. The Hamas perspective does not recognize its fiascoes. In fact, despite a cash flow from Iran and detailed organization, they failed to reach their targeted goal of 100,000 demonstrators. And the massed rioters, although constantly urged to smash their way across, failed even once to break through the Gaza-Israel border fence or breach any of the IDF positions lined up to secure the border.
Neither were substantial protests whipped up in other Palestinian areas, especially in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. Hamas strategists are therefore in a quandary about how to proceed next with their eight-week “March of Return.”

Turkey has called for an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the government spokesman said on Monday, after Israeli forces killed of dozens of protesters in Gaza.
Ankara wants the meeting of the 57-member-state body to be held on Friday, spokesman Bekir Bozdag said.
On the bloodiest single day for Palestinians since the Gaza conflict in 2014, Israeli troops shot dead 55 Palestinian protesters on the Gaza border on Monday as the United States opened its embassy to Israel in Jerusalem.
Turkey has been one of the most vocal critics of the U.S. move and the violence in Gaza, with the government declaring three days of mourning for those killed.

Tehran and Jerusalem have exchanged fire in Syria as the Middle Eastern powers square up to one another.
Israel believes Iran is plotting to attack them through Syria, while Iran has warned it will “destroy Israel” within 25 years.
US officials have also dubbed an open war between Israel and Iran the “most likely” for “live hostility”.
And now Rabbi Pinchas Winston, a prolific end-times theorist who has penned 50 books, has predicted a conflict is on the brink.
He eluded to prophecy predicted by 13th century scholar which said Iran would spark an apocalyptic war.
“Things are about to get Biblical,” Rabbi Winston told Breaking Israel news.
