A new California bill is the reason Summit Ministries has decided to cancel their upcoming conference at Biola University outside of Los Angeles.
The Ministry is being forced to cancel due to the possibility that what they teach will go against the new California law.
AB 2943 an Assembly Bill that states that any book or conference that preaches against things like homosexuality or transgenderism cannot be allowed.
AB 2943 states that any biblical books (including the Bible) cannot be taught, and anyone who does will risk being penalized. Same goes for preaching at a conference, hence why Summit Ministries had to cancel their conference at Biola University.
ORLANDO, Fla. — Photographs and videos have emerged online of a rainbow Mickey Mouse hat that is being sold at Disney’s theme parks in Florida and California, the latest development in the company’s continued accommodation of the sin of homosexuality.
“Disney World got gay ears and I need to get them just to [vulgarity] off old religious people,” one visitor posted to social media. “Disney now has gay [expletive] ears!” another wrote.
The red hat features rainbow ears and embroidery of two Mickey hands forming a rainbow heart.

A humanist campaign group wants four-year-olds to be taught about LGBT issues – and has branded religious views on sexuality “discriminatory”.
Humanists UK, formerly known as the British Humanist Association, issued a statement backing Government plans on new primary school Relationships Education.
Under the proposals, children will be taught about “different types of relationships”, which critics fear could include homosexuality, transsexualism and same-sex marriage.
The group went on to compare traditional religious views to racism, claiming they were an “unconscionable affront to the equality and dignity of all people”.

BRISTOL, England, A government-funded pre-apprenticeship academy in Bristol reported a Christian teacher as a “radicalisation threat” for answering students’ questions about her beliefs, Bristol Employment Tribunal has heard.
Svetlana Powell, a teacher of some 17 years’ experience, told the Tribunal that she was dismissed by the T2 Apprenticeship Academy in Bristol in July 2016 after being asked by students about her views on homosexuality.
In reply to a personal question, Mrs Powell said that her personal belief was that homosexuality was against God’s will, but that He loved every person, regardless of what they did, or who they were.
When told that one of the students identified as a lesbian, Mrs Powell in conviction of God’s care and love for every person, turned to her and said: “God loves you”. Two days later, the Academy’s HR Officer, Stacy Preston, told Mrs Powell that she was fired for “gross misconduct” with immediate effect.

NEWARK, N.J. — The New Jersey Department of Education has suspended the teaching certificates of a former high school teacher who came under fire seven years ago for speaking against the sin of homosexuality on Facebook.
As previously reported, Jenye “Viki” Knox, 56, first came under fire in June 2011 after she posted comments on Facebook decrying the promotion of the homosexual lifestyle Union High School.
The school had reportedly erected a display in acknowledgment of “Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Month,” which featured popular homosexual celebrities.
“It’s still there,” she vented on her personal Facebook page. “I’m pitching a fit.”
The status then began to spark discussion, which turned into a controversy when others were offended by her comments.

British parents were stunned to learn this week the government is considering human sexuality lessons for elementary school children that includes online porn, sexting, homosexuality, and transgenderism.
According to the United Kingdom’s Sun newspaper, the British government is seeking “input from parents, teachers, and students” regarding its sex education requirements, which have remained untouched for nearly three decades. Education Secretary Justine Greening has already announced that sex ed will be “compulsory” in all schools in the UK—including parochial schools run by the Catholic Church and Church of England.
Government bureaucrats argue the current curricula do not “properly address modern issues,” including cyber-bullying and “revenge porn.” Pro-family advocates, on the other hand, say the proposals offered so far go way beyond basic education meant to keep children safe.

Elizabeth Johnston, also known as “The Activist Mommy,” often posts videos on social media about the pressure to normalize homosexuality and other ills in America.
She has recently come under fire for comments she posted on Twitter criticizing Teen Vogue magazine for an article it published teaching sodomy to kids.
CBN News has covered the story about the article entitled, “Everything You Need to Know About Anal Sex; How to do it the Right Way.”
Johnston launched Operation #PullTeenVogue in response to the article. More than 11 million people have viewed a July 13th video of the vlogger burning a copy of the magazine in her backyard.
She also took to Twitter to express her outrage. She sent tweets to Phillip Picardi, the Digital Editorial Director of Teen Vogue, who she claims was responsible for printing the article.

A private school for Orthodox Jewish girls aged three to eight faces closure because pupils are not taught about homosexuality or gender reassignment.
The Vishnitz Girls School, in north London, does not give pupils “a full understanding of fundamental British values” according to a report by
the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Schools (Ofsted).
The report claimed girls “are not taught explicitly about issues such as sexual orientation. This restricts pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and does not promote equality of opportunity in ways that take account of differing lifestyles.”
As a result of its defiant stance in refusing to bow to state pressure, the school failed its Ofsted inspection for the third time since February 2016.
The report added that school leaders “recognise the requirement to teach about the protected characteristics as set out in the Equality Act 2010. However, they acknowledge that they do not teach pupils about all the protected characteristics, particularly those relating to gender re-assignment and sexual orientation.

EDMONTON, Alberta — A Christian school in Canada says that it is shocked after recently being told by the local school board that it should not teach any “offensive” Bible verses to children, particularly those those that refer to homosexuality.
Cornerstone Christian Academy in Kingman, approximately an hour outside of the provincial capital of Edmonton, says that it was approached by the Battle River School Division and asked to remove 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 from its student handbook.
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God,” the Scripture reads.
“And such were some of you, but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
“We asked them to not include it, but perhaps use a different piece of Scripture,” Diane Hutchinson with Battle River told Metro News.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — “Who wants to be a drag queen when they grow up?” That’s the question a man dressed as a woman recently asked children attending “Drag Queen Story Hour” (DQSH) at a public library in New York.
Since last fall, the Brooklyn Public Library in Park Slope has been offering the storytime for children, bringing in various drag queens to read children’s books about homosexuality, gender identity and “non-conformity,” and “general youth discomfort.”
It’s one of several cities across the country—including San Francisco and Los Angeles—who have signed on to the program, created by Michelle Tea of Radar Productions.
“DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models,” the website for the effort reads.
